Contract Summary:

TES were involved in the transformation of Television Centre into a mixed use development including office and studio space for the BBC. Included in the redevelopment are complementary entertainment and leisure facilities, public open space, premium offices, housing, independent cinema, and members’ club Soho House and hotel.

As the buildings are listed, the scheme includes refurbishment and conversion works as well as elements of new build.

The scheme seeks to take forward the innovative management approach created at Chiswick Park to create a new destination in West London for living, working and playing.

Television Centre will open to the public for the first time in its history with new outdoor spaces, connecting Wood Lane with Hammersmith Park through the Helios courtyard and landscaped forecourt.

432 homes will be available in the first phase of the project.

Contract Specifications:

TES were awarded the contract for LV distribution for the refurbishment scheme.

The Contract Works included:

  • 1 No Main Switchboard – 400Amp, Form 4, Type 2
  • 4 No Panel Boards
  • 11 No Single Line Bypass ATS’
