We are seeking to recruit a talented individual for our well established business that prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service together with high quality and innovative products.

Predominantly office based the successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical control panels and installations for turnkey process solutions using AutoCAD based software package.

Job Title: Electrical Technician
Reporting to: Contracts Manager
Business / Division: Operations
Location: Cookstown with some travel required
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Excellent and Negotiable DOE

Normal working hours – 40 Hours per week – 8.00am – 4.30pm (alternative or additional hours may be required dependant on the nature of the contracted job).

Brief Duties:

  • Test & Commission all Control Panels in house and on site
  • Site commissioning
  • Fault finding
  • Instrumentation Commissioning
  • Any other duties as required by Contracts Manager
  • Comply with all ISO Quality & Environmental Policies and Procedures & All Health & Safety Rules

Required Experience:


  • NVQ/HNC/HND in a related discipline such as Electrical Engineering.
  • Knowledge of Electrical sector – Switchboards and Control Panels.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Computer Literacy: Should be proficient using Excel spreadsheets, databases, etc.
  • Driving licence and access to own vehicle


  • Experience in a similar M&E Technician role within the water / wastewater sector.
  • NICEIC Certification
  • PLC experience
