Due to the continued growth and expansion of the company TES have an opportunity for an Switchgear Estimator to join our Motor Control Panel & Switchgear team and support a busy and growing workforce.

We currently have vacancies for Switchgear Estimators

Predominantly office based the successful candidate will be responsible for the estimation of TES Power LV &  Switchgear products.

Job Title: Electrical Estimator
Reporting to: Tendering Manager
Business / Division:
Motor Control Panel and Switchgear Division
Location: Cookstown Headquarters, with some travel required
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Competitive, Negotiable depending on experience

Normal working hours – 40 Hours per week – 8.00am – 4.30pm or as advised in accordance with specific tasks and job location.

Ongoing Structured Training Programme for new employees.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with TES clients
  • Review of client enquiry specifications, to produce technical quotations for clients.
  • Ensure quotes are reflective of the clients business needs.
  • Provision of support to our Sales Managers.
  • Liaise with our design team and contracts managers to ensure accuracy of quotes.

You will ideally have 2 years experience in Switchgear Estimating and will have specific experience of LV switchgear or Motor Control Centres, as well as a strong education behind you to at least ONC standard in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
